Hundreds of settlers storm Al-Aqsa on Sukkot
Hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Wednesday, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, on the fifth day of the Jewish Sukkot holiday. Since the beginning of the year through the end of August, the number of incursions has reached approximately 40,661 settlers, with more than 800 eviction orders issued against Jerusalemites. The frequency of these intrusions increases during Jewish holiday periods amid tight security measures, as settlers perform Talmudic rituals and carry "vegetal offerings" in an attempt to break into the sanctuary and impose sovereignty over the area.
