Trump remarks on Flydubai incident
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about an incident involving a Fly Dubai airplane, saying he received a report from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicating that the co-pilot was either a terrorist or mentally ill. The attacker on the plane reportedly tried to kill the pilot, who was in poor health at the time. Trump added that after being stabbed, the pilot shouted for help, and a strong Israeli passenger—who had no prior flying experience—was able to subdue the attacker and take over control of the plane, restoring it to normal operation despite his lack of flying expertise. He clarified that this account is unverified and that official investigations are still pending.
