Barcelona wins 7-0 over Real in Women's Classic
The Barcelona Women's team achieved a significant victory over their rivals Real Madrid with a 7-0 scoreline in the Catalonia Derby at the Camp Nou Stadium, during the sixth round of the Spanish Women's League. Four of the goals were scored by Claudia Pina, who managed to net a hat-trick and helped extend the lead at the top of the table to 5 points. The match started two hours later than scheduled due to heavy rain, and Barcelona continued its perfect start to the season, with Pina scoring quickly at the beginning of the first half, before adding her second and third goals within half an hour. After the halftime break, Eva Baier scored the sixth goal for the team, while Sydney Shirley wrapped up the goal festival with the seventh at the end of the match.
