British report sheds light on Omani pilot
The British newspaper "The Telegraph" revealed that the Omani pilot suspected of attempting to hijack a plane headed to Israel received training in Britain. He has been charged with assaulting the pilot with an axe while trying to take control of the aircraft and was planning to direct the plane toward Tel Aviv in an attack inspired by the September 11 attacks. El-Hamami, 29 years old, studied at a pilot training academy in England and completed his studies at the University of Buckinghamshire. However, his social media account uncovered messages advocating violence against women and inciting religious punishments.
