Saudi Arabia probes Fly Dubai incident
Saudi Arabia is currently investigating a recent incident involving an attack on a Fly Dubai aircraft en route to Israel. During the flight over Saudi airspace on September 30, a co-pilot attempted to take control of the plane and bring it down using the emergency axe. In response, Saudi authorities launched an internal investigation in accordance with international aviation safety regulations, involving a representative from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board. Meanwhile, the UAE is conducting a criminal investigation and considers the incident an "acts of terrorism." Israel has offered to participate in the investigation, given that the majority of the passengers are its citizens. The final results of the investigation have not yet been announced.
