Former soldier calls Gaza a mark on history and Palestinian freedom
Dozens of civilians, including children and women, have been killed and injured as a result of continued Israeli shelling on the Gaza Strip. Gaza has witnessed a bloody escalation in military operations by Israel, leading to the death of 24 martyrs and injuries to dozens, among them children and women. Additionally, homes and infrastructure have been destroyed. Palestinian forces affirm that this escalation aims at launching a new assault on hospitals and civilian areas. Meanwhile, the international community warns that such escalation is a stain on humanity's conscience, calling for a halt to the operations and pressing the occupation to end the aggression.
