Risks of delaying Palestinian elections
Israeli forces continue to bombard Gaza, resulting in 8 martyrs and multiple injuries due to airstrikes and home demolitions, along with 5 people injured in shelling and gunfire. There are warnings that the occupation is attempting to pave the way for a new assault on hospitals and healthcare facilities in Gaza. Meanwhile, the occupation continues its raids and arrests in the West Bank. Palestinian factions are calling for comprehensive dialogue to reform the authority's institutions, while Palestinian forces believe that postponing legislative elections undermines the legitimacy of the political system and disregards the will of the people.
