Northern Palestine explosion reported
An explosion near a settlement close to the Lebanese border resulted in the death of one settler and injuries to 19 others. Estimates suggest that the explosive device, which was in the bag of a student among the settlers, is most likely a missile or projectile previously launched by Hezbollah that did not detonate at the time, but exploded today due to the dense vegetation cover in the area. The incident is considered a serious security event, as the explosion led to one person among the injured succumbing to their wounds and others being hurt. Following the event, the Israeli Prime Minister canceled his visit to the West Bank.
