Iranian Guard Claims Striking Third Oil Tanker
Iran confirmed that the Revolutionary Guards targeted a oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, which was hit by a mine while passing through, causing it to explode and resulting in the death of five martyrs and injuries to others. Iran also announced the downing of an American MQ-1 drone west of the Strait of Hormuz. This coincided with an Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip, where five people were killed and others injured due to Israeli shelling, amid evacuation efforts and property destruction.
