Farmers assaulted 14 times during olive harvest
The Palestinian territories, especially Gaza and the West Bank, are experiencing ongoing assaults that include Israeli bombings, demolitions, and attacks targeting farmers during the olive harvest season. These actions have resulted in martyrs, injuries, and the destruction of homes and agricultural crops. This year's olive season is witnessing significant unrest due to settlers' attacks on farmers, tree burnings, and theft of crops, which threaten the harvest and drive up prices. These developments occur amid a broad military escalation in Gaza, ongoing since the start of the escalation in October 2023, which has left dozens dead and injured, with homes destroyed and civilians targeted. There are urgent calls for swift Arab and Islamic action to stop the escalation.
