Gaza: 5 martyrs and 18 injured in 24 hours
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that over the past 24 hours, five martyrs and 18 injuries have been recorded in the Gaza Strip, including three new martyrs and two others who succumbed to their wounds, in ongoing Israeli escalation against the sector. Since the beginning of the aggression in October 2025, the total number of martyrs has reached 1,493, and injuries have totaled 5,299, with more than 836 cases of rescue. Israeli military operations continue with shelling of the southern and eastern parts of Gaza, despite international efforts for de-escalation, worsening the suffering of civilians and displaced persons, amid fears of a breakdown of the ceasefire and a renewed escalation.
