Occupation besieges 15 villages near Jerusalem
Violence is escalating in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as Israeli occupation forces continue to shell and demolish homes, resulting in the deaths of eight people and injuries to others, in addition to widespread demolitions. The occupation also maintains its blockade of villages northwest of Jerusalem and threatens to displace families in areas such as Ras al-Ahmar, amid Palestinian warnings that these measures pave the way for a new attack on hospitals in Gaza. This occurs amid a worsening humanitarian and economic situation in the sector, with ongoing military operations and a rising number of martyrs due to airstrikes and gunfire.
