Khan Yunis Shelling and Injuries
Israeli forces renewed airstrikes around Al-Amal Hospital west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in a critically injured Palestinian due to a drone strike in the Al-Amal neighborhood northwest of the city. The Gaza Strip continues to face the closure of the Rafah border crossing for the second week in a row, preventing the evacuation of patients and the wounded for treatment outside the territory, amid increasing medical and humanitarian needs and a deteriorating health situation. Additionally, restrictions on the movement of goods and supplies persist, with calls to open the crossings to facilitate the delivery of aid.
