Warning: Some phones change for daylight saving time
Smartphones in Jordan will automatically switch from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time on Friday, October 30, 2026, despite the government maintaining Year-Round Daylight Saving Time (GMT +3). This may cause confusion among users. The issue stems from the programming of some devices that rely on two different time systems, affecting older phones that were previously set to Standard Time. To resolve the problem, users are advised to restart their phones, update their operating systems, or manually set the correct time.
