Violent protests spread to Italy
Violent clashes erupted in Italy, particularly in Milan, similar to those that took place in France, protesting against rising living costs. Police forces engaged in confrontations with protesters who pelted them with fireworks and bottles, resulting in at least four police officers and 20 protesters injured, and the arrest of more than 50 people, half of whom were minors. Conflicts were also reported in other cities such as Turin, Bologna, and Bergamo.
