Bomb threat redirects Ben Gurion flight
Israel announced that an Austrian Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Sofia Airport in Bulgaria after receiving warnings about a suspicious object on board. The flight was en route from Ben Gurion Airport to Vienna. The aircraft issued a "7700" signal, which indicates a request for immediate landing. It was reported that someone in Vienna notified the police about a bomb on the plane. While Israeli authorities are conducting investigations into the incident, they are also examining the causes and the possibility that the report was false, intended to create chaos.
