Five Israeli soldiers hurt in Hebron attack
The Israeli occupation army announced the killing of two Palestinians and the injury of five soldiers, two of whom are in critical condition, after carrying out a shooting operation at a military checkpoint at the entrance to Fersh Hawa area in Hebron, in the southern West Bank. The armed clashes lasted for more than 20 minutes, with the attackers using a pistol and an M16 rifle before the army was able to kill them following a brief chase. The operation prompted Israeli forces to bolster the area and impose tight security measures, including surrounding the nearby villages, amidst escalating military tensions in the region.
