Israeli occupation forces carried out raids and incursions in various parts of the West Bank early Saturday, arresting a number of Palestinians. They re-arrested former prisoner Ahmad Sawalha in the village of Azmut, one day after his release, and also arrested a woman and a 64-year-old man in the Jenin governorate. The raids took place in Nablus, Qalqilya, Jenin, Jerusalem, Tubas and Jericho, and included the setting up of military checkpoints and restrictions on residents’ movement.
