The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported on Saturday that occupation forces and settlers carried out 19 attacks against olive harvesters and their land in seven West Bank governorates between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The attacks included beatings, arrests and threats; the theft of crops and equipment; preventing farmers from reaching their land; and the destruction of olive trees. Two farmers in Salfit sustained bruising and moderate fractures. The Commission said these practices target farmers, their crops and their means of production. It warned against turning seasonal restrictions on access to land into a permanent reality, and called on the international community to protect farmers and ensure they can reach their land safely.
