The newspaper *Maariv*, citing sources, reported that the Israeli military had drawn up a plan for dealing with Lebanon if Hezbollah intervenes in support of Iran in the event of a renewed confrontation between Tel Aviv and Tehran. The plan includes an attempt to take control of Tyre, Sidon and Nabatieh, and impose a naval blockade by closing the ports of Beirut and Tripoli. It also calls for extensive military and security operations deep inside Lebanon, targeting potential strategic and command sites.
