Gaza Education Units Hit
Tkiyet Um Ali announced that Israeli shelling at dawn on Friday caused extensive damage to two of its educational units in northern Gaza, with no injuries reported because the attack took place during the weekend break. In coordination with the Palestine Tomorrow Association, Tkiyet Um Ali has begun assessing the damage, repairing the two sites and rehabilitating them so they can resume providing education and psychosocial support. The 14 educational units run by the “Gaza Children’s Recovery” program serve around 3,100 children aged 5 to 16, providing education, school meals, and psychosocial support.
