Crocodiles seized aboard train
Egyptian authorities seized 30 young crocodiles, measuring between 20 and 25 centimeters long, in a container inside a bag carried by a passenger on a train from Aswan to Alexandria. The seizure took place at Assiut station. The crocodiles were taken to the Wadi al-Asyuti reserve for care, pending their return to Lake Nasser once legal procedures are complete and the competent prosecution service has approved.
