Samoud Saadat spent nine years without seeing her imprisoned father, Ahmad Saadat, after he was arrested during the 2006 raid on Jericho prison. She saw him again on August 20, 2015, behind glass, unable to embrace him. Now that he has been returned to solitary confinement and visits have stopped, she receives only scant information about him through lawyers. Her dream is still to embrace him when they meet. Samoud also recounts marrying prisoner Asim al-Kaabi and giving birth to their son, Nader, after he was rearrested while she was six months pregnant.
