Asian Cup Delayed to 2027
The Asian Football Confederation has announced that the 2027 AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia has been postponed. It will now take place from 23 December 2027 to 21 January 2028, instead of the previously scheduled dates of 7 January to 5 February 2027. The Confederation said the decision followed consultations with the organising committee and the Saudi Football Federation, in light of current circumstances and developments and the considerations they raise regarding travel and logistical arrangements.
