Leaders of Israel’s “Change Bloc” will meet on Tuesday for the first time since the election to discuss the future of their alliance, a day before President Isaac Herzog receives the election results and begins consultations on a candidate to form the government. The meeting will include Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett, Yair Lapid, Avigdor Lieberman and Yair Golan. Lieberman and Golan have announced that they intend to recommend Eisenkot to form the government. The meeting comes amid warnings that a delay in forming a government could heighten security risks.
