Israeli occupation forces have once again arrested Thamer Sabaaneh, a writer and activist on prisoners’ issues who previously spent years in their prisons and devoted his writing to conveying the suffering of detainees and their families. He is known for works he wrote in prison, including *Free Chains*, *Heartbeats* and *Captive Moons*. Days before his arrest, he wrote about the limited freedom released prisoners may face because of ongoing persecution and arrests. His family is now waiting to learn his fate and the conditions of his detention.
