The Qamat Foundation for Documenting the Palestinian Struggle inaugurated its new media and documentation center, “Baqa,” on Wednesday, with support from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and a contribution from the American Friends Service Committee (Quakers). The center includes a fully equipped studio for producing programs, podcasts, educational and cultural materials, and documentaries—helping to preserve Palestinian memory and the national narrative. The project also aims to train young people and graduates, create job opportunities, and provide sources of income to support the sustainability of the foundation’s projects.
