Palestinian Prisoners’ Club director Abdullah al-Zaghari warned of escalating attacks on prisoners held in isolation and of threats to their lives, noting that dozens are being held in Megiddo and Negev prisons. He said prisoner Hassan Salameh was assaulted and shot, sustaining several bullet wounds, and that dozens of prisoners were shot at during crackdown operations. He added that prisoners face isolation, starvation and denial of medical care, while the International Committee of the Red Cross is barred from visiting them and their families have been denied visits for more than three years.
