Israeli forces bombed several areas across the Gaza Strip, opened fire in its eastern and southern areas, and blew up residential buildings—all in violations of the ceasefire agreement. The Ministry of Health said that hospitals in the Strip had received three people killed and 21 injured over the past 48 hours. With limited resources, Gaza Municipality began preparing the Tal al-Hawa camp for the rainy season, using 400 plastic bags and four truckloads of sand to protect tents from flooding. Local authorities warned that more than 1,000 sites housing displaced people could be inundated. The Government Media Office said that 162,000 of the Strip’s 270,000 tents were dilapidated and needed replacing.
