Body may be Jordanian
An unidentified body was found Wednesday in the Ein Gedi beach area, west of the Dead Sea, during the search for Jordanian national Hammad al-Balawi, who was swept away by flash floods in the Sweimeh area of the Southern Shouneh district. The Palestinian SAND Search and Rescue Team said identification would depend on the results of tests and forensic examinations, as the highly saline water and rocky terrain had made it difficult to identify the body.
