Police Urge Caution
Jordan’s Public Security Directorate warned that a relatively cold air mass is expected on Friday and Saturday, bringing showers to the north and center of the Kingdom and parts of the southwest. The rain may intensify at times and be accompanied by thunderstorms. The Directorate urged people to stay away from valleys and flood channels, drive cautiously because of rain, slippery roads, fog and dust, and use heating devices safely. It said its personnel were ready to respond and urged anyone in need to call 911.
