Israeli forces launched extensive raids early Thursday morning across various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem. The raids were marked by clashes and the firing of live rounds, tear gas and stun grenades, leaving people injured and suffering from suffocation, and resulting in the arrest of dozens of Palestinians. The campaign was concentrated in Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, where around 30 people were arrested. Three young men were arrested in Qalqilya, while raids also extended to Tubas, Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, Ramallah, Salfit and Hebron. The campaign came after the Prisoners’ Club announced that 45 Palestinians—including five women and two journalists—had been arrested the previous day.
