Low-Pressure Winds Sunday
The Palestinian Civil Defense warned of a low-pressure system beginning Thursday evening and lasting through Sunday, with heavy rain and strong winds expected. It urged residents to ventilate their homes when using heating equipment, stay away from valleys, flash floods, and standing water, and secure objects that could be blown away. Drivers were also urged to slow down, keep a safe distance, and watch for reduced visibility. The Civil Defense said its teams were ready and urged people to call the toll-free number 102 in an emergency.
