Israeli occupation authorities forced Jerusalem residents Mar’i Jamil Abdullah Ja’abees and Muhammad Aziz Jamil Ja’abees on Friday to demolish their own homes in the al-Sal’a neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukabber, south of occupied Jerusalem. Each home measured about 50 square meters and was built in 2020. Together, they housed 18 members of the two families, who had previously paid 25,000 shekels in an attempt to prevent the demolitions.
