Gaza's Martyrs Remembered
The team behind the “Untold Palestine” platform in Gaza City has launched the “Archive of Life” project to document the stories and personal histories of martyrs, with their families’ participation. The project aims to ensure they are not reduced to statistics and to protect the Palestinian narrative from digital erasure and restriction. It draws on a network of more than 200 photographers and has collected over a thousand stories so far. The project recognizes families as having the right to tell their loved ones’ stories, while respecting their privacy and dignity. Its organizers hope to develop the archive into a cultural, interactive space featuring exhibitions and educational resources, helping introduce the international community to Palestinian human history.
