250 Couples Marry in Gaza
On November 6, 2026, Gaza City hosted the “Thob Al-Farah 3” mass wedding, with 250 brides and grooms taking part. Supported by the UAE and organized by Operation Gallant Knight 3, the event aimed to ease the costs of marriage and revive signs of everyday life amid the war’s consequences. It underscored young Palestinians’ determination to start families despite displacement, destruction, and severe economic hardship. The celebration coincided with the operation’s third anniversary. According to its statements, UAE aid to Gaza had exceeded $4.3 billion and totaled more than 136,000 tonnes.
