UAE Reaffirms Gaza Aid
Anwar Gargash affirmed that Gaza and its people remain at the forefront of the UAE’s humanitarian concerns, noting that Operation Gallant Knight 3 brought joy to 500 brides and grooms and their families. Since the operation was launched in November 2023, the UAE has provided more than $4.3 billion in aid—around 46% of the global humanitarian support directed to the Strip—including over 136,000 tonnes of relief supplies. Its efforts have included medical and water assistance, from a field hospital that has treated more than 195,000 patients and injured people to a desalination plant supplying around 7.5 million litres of drinking water a day.
