The General Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar clarified the new regulations for carrying portable chargers (Power Banks) onboard aircraft, as part of enhancing air safety procedures. It specifies that travelers are permitted to carry a maximum of two chargers, each with a capacity not exceeding 100 watt-hours. They must be placed inside the aircraft cabin only and should not be recharged during the flight. The instructions emphasize the importance of protecting the ports and following airline guidelines to ensure safety and reduce the risk of fire or electrical short circuits from lithium batteries.
