Red Crescent boosts cardiac care in Syria
The "Compassionate Hearts" project was carried out by Qatar Red Crescent to enhance heart surgery and cardiac catheterization services in Idlib Governorate in northern Syria. Specialized departments were established and developed at Al-Hidaya Hospital, equipped with modern devices and staffed with trained medical personnel. This has allowed thousands of heart patients to receive specialized treatment within the governorate for the first time, reducing the need to travel outside the area for care.
