During its first ordinary session of the second legislative term, the Advisory Council of Qatar achieved significant milestones both legislatively and oversight-wise, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The council held 36 general sessions, reviewing draft laws and ministerial reports, and participated in regional and international conferences. These included the United Nations General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, where it successfully included an urgent agenda item emphasizing the importance of collective parliamentary efforts to support a ceasefire and peace in the Middle East. The council also demonstrated active participation in international forums and agreements, contributing to the issuance of important resolutions that strengthen Qatar's parliamentary diplomacy on the global stage.
