Peace Council to supervise Gaza shelters

An Israeli newspaper reported that the Peace Council will begin a pilot project within weeks to manage humanitarian shelter centers in areas of Gaza outside Hamas control, particularly in the Tèl Sultan area near Rafah. Multinational forces led by the council will be stationed at a base close to the region, and medical and food aid will be directed to gradually weaken Hamas's influence. This measure is a prelude to implementing a plan based on governing areas free from Hamas through mobile housing units and medical services, with a commitment not to use concrete for rebuilding in those areas.
