Southern France fires burn 1000 hectares
A fire broke out in the forests of the Trévillac region in the Eastern Pyrenees south of France, burning approximately 1,000 hectares so far. More than 580 firefighters and aircraft are involved in efforts to control the blaze, which has subsided but still threatens the area due to unfavorable weather conditions, such as winds reaching speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour and high temperatures.
