Al Sadd Club has signed Romanian coach Răzvan Lucescu for two seasons until 2028, replacing the Italian Roberto Mancini who left in June. The signing comes as part of the club’s strategy to strengthen its local and continental standing. The coaching staff includes three assistant coaches, fitness coaches, goalkeeping coaches, and a performance analyst. Lucescu previously managed Al-Gharafa SC and gained experience with other clubs in Romania and Greece before coaching Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia.
