Council of Ministers moves on tech professions law
The Qatari Council of Ministers approved a bill to regulate the practice of technical professions, aiming to establish a legal framework that defines areas of artistic work, including licensing procedures and the obligations of organizers of artistic performances. The law also involves the creation of a permanent committee for technical professions and regulations concerning children's participation, with the goal of supporting artistic creativity and protecting the rights of artists. This initiative seeks to enhance the status of art and culture within the National Development Strategy 2024-2030.
