20th School Olympic Program Launch Ready
The organizing committee of the School Olympic Program in Qatar announced that preparations are complete for the launch of the 20th edition for the 2026-2027 season, which will be held at the Aspire Academy Dome in October. The program aims to support school sports, discover talents, and promote student participation across various sports, with an expected participation of over 27,000 students in 36 different sports—this being the highest number since the program's inception in 2007. The organization is collaborating with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Qatar Olympic Committee, aiming to add significant achievements to the records of school sports and to enhance the Olympic culture among the younger generations. There are also plans to expand the sponsorship base and support programs that foster the future of sports in Qatar.
