The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will hold a concert next Monday at the Qatar National Convention Center, titled "Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1," in celebration of the Russian composer's musical legacy. The concert will be led by conductor Enrique Demicky and will feature Korean pianist Jae Hoon Park, the winner of the 2021 Busoni International Competition. The program includes a performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, one of his most famous works, and will conclude with the symphony "Manfred," inspired by Byron's poem, which is among his powerful and dramatic compositions. The event aims to showcase distinctive Western and Arab music and to spread a message of peace through the blending of musical cultures.
