Canadian professor's passing in Qatar
The Canadian Muslim doctor David Booker, who converted to Islam and was living in Qatar away from his family, has passed away. Social media calls for the funeral prayer to be performed for him today, Friday, after Maghrib prayer at the Muaither Cemetery, with wide participation from the community. He was known for his interest in Islamic projects and his support for Muslim causes. The invitations also urged his Muslim brothers to attend and join in the burial rites, which will take place at exactly 5:40 PM, in an atmosphere of compassion and solidarity.
