Yesterday, the Israeli occupation targeted the Ayn al-Shara area near the town of Beit Jen in the Damascus countryside with an artillery shell that fell on agricultural lands. This was part of a series of frequent attacks on the area, including artillery shelling, arrests, and incursions, all of which violate the 1974 ceasefire agreement. Syria affirms that all Israeli measures are illegal and calls on the international community to exert pressure to end the occupation. Additionally, the Syrian Foreign Minister emphasized Syria's rejection of the Israeli Prime Minister's entry into Syrian territory, reaffirming its opposition to violations and its steadfast stance on restoring sovereignty and unity.
