Southern Syria, particularly in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa, has experienced a new and intense incursion by Israeli forces. These infiltrations included the entry of military vehicles and tanks through the villages of Rasem Sand and Ofina, accompanied by intensive Israeli reconnaissance drone flights and heavy gunfire on residential areas in Meriya. Violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement have recurred through these infiltrations and attacks, while Syria is calling on the international community to de-escalate the situation and compel the occupation to withdraw from its territories.
