The real estate market in Qatar experienced a decline in sales value during Week 37 of 2026, with transaction contracts totaling approximately 354.5 million Qatari riyals. This represents a 52.8% decrease compared to the previous week and a 32.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. Sales were concentrated mainly on two types of properties: villas and land, with a larger share in Doha Municipality, which recorded a trading value of 115.3 million riyals. Additionally, the rental market saw a weekly drop of 68.5%, with contract values reaching 5.47 million riyals, accompanied by a decrease in the number of contracts compared to previous periods. This indicates a significant downturn in both real estate sales and rental activity during that week.
